Most water problems start at the source, but when lukewarm or cold water creeps into the pipes, it is time to repair the water heater. There are a few reasons why your water heater does not produce enough hot water, and some of them are easier cures than others. Check the numbers of your water heater if you have not had enough hot water in the recent past, or now. As described above, when you are working on your water heater, you need a quick fix so that you are not stranded at home without water for more than a few hours (or even days).

If your water heating system is working properly and there is no hot water coming from the shower tap, there may be a problem with your diverter valve. If you find that you cannot get hot water if the heater is not on or if it is on but not hot, the problem is probably a valve closure. If you don't get hot water at all, even if you do, you should contact an appliance repair service to have a look at the inverters and valves.

If only a low water pressure occurs at the hot water tap, this can be no problem with the instantaneous water heater.
If you get heated because you don't have hot water and you can't solve the problem, it's time to call an appliance repair service because it might be time to repair the water heater.
